It was an extremely nice Trade Show in Frankfurt.

Me and Selvaganesh played a bunch of little performances. As a duet and also together with our friends IA Eklundh, TM Stevens and Sivamani.

Also my Warwick Amps System was awarded the MIPA award for best bass amp. A very prestigious award voted on by the world’s top 110 Musical instrument publications such as Bass Player, Guitar Player, Guitar World, Gitarre&Bass, etc. 

 

I am really proud that my amps were so well received by Bass Player Magazine that they honored me with the Bass Player Editors Award.

The Year has been a great one with many travels and the release of ART METAL, the project I have been slowly developing with Mattias IA Eklundh.

The first thing that will happen after the New Year is a brief visit to India for some shows in duo with Selvaganesh and then off to the NAMM show in Anaheim, CA to continue the introduction of the Warwick/Hellborg amp series.

Hong Kong
I am on my way to Hong Kong, to cross the border into China to work on the cabinets for the Hellborg series.
We are in the process of optimizing the performance by way of adjusting materials and internal damping. The new versions will be at the NAMM show for all to see and hear.

Chennai
Selvaganesh has been very buzy with Shakti the last couple of years.
Now we both feel that the time has come to work seriously on our duo project that once started  our coorperation.
Earlier this year we did some shows in Korea as duo (and in quartet with Miyeon and Park Je Chun). So the first week of the year we will spend together in Chennai (formerly Madras) India to work out some new material.
